On interview, Ishan recalls his U-19 days with Pant bonding , and the taking advice from Pant in which way his batting positioning is correct. Also used Pant’s bat “RP17” to score his maiden fifty.
He says ” I was at NCA before this. Pant was also there. He knows how I play. We have known each other since under-19 days. I also wanted someone to advise me and luckily he was there to tell me something about my bat positioning.”
Also reveal about the plan about high run-rate(7.54) on 2nd innings , says “We had the plan that we will play 10-12 overs after the rain break and score 70-80 runs. We wanted a 370-380 target.”
Right what we can say that Ishan might have the first choice wicket keeper than KS Bharat until Pant returns.
