No matter what the match is or the pressure, You can always see some out-of-the-box shots from Surya. Thursday in Barbados, we have also seen that. A Waist height ball deposits for six at the 3rd man area. This is a typical Surya shot that was seen yesterday.

Also with some unusual facts, Rohit came to bat at no 7, the first time in 12 years. He also remembered his debut times when he used to play at no 7. Says “I made my debut for India and was batting at number 7, reminded me of those days.”

A fiery knock (52 in 46 balls) from Ishan which accumulates that he is still the no1 choice for wicketkeeper for WC coming ahead. Sad news for Sanju , as having 66 average in 11 matches with 330 runs, still haven’t got any chance for playing XI today. Most underrated player now a days.

And , also the spin double , Jadeja and Kuldeep taking 7 wickets in a quick span of time . Kuldeep was man of the match with stats like this (3over – 6runs – 4wickets) .Kuldeep says ” I thought it will be a seaming paradise, we are happy we got 7 wickets from our side. It was spinning a bit, and there was bounce as well.”

So , looking forward this series might end up one sided , but it is good platform to identify for the last phase to pickup right players for WC23. Let BCCI pick the best out of it.
